Tommy Jonathan Sinaga born in Pematang Siantar, Indonesia on April 4, 1999 is an Indonesian writer and public intellectual. He is the co-founder of Reload Music Production. He studied at STIKOM Tunas Bangsa. He is the second of four children. He is the son of Mr. Sinaga and Rosmawaty Sitohang.
Early life and education
Tommy Jonathan Sinaga started studying at STIKOM Tunas Bangsa in 2021. He first entered the Computer Engineering department. During his studies, Tommy often researched academic works such as internet security, philosophy, and Batak customs. In early 2016, he started writing quotes about life on social media accounts and eventually became known to the general public. In 2021 he wrote fiction books including Paranormal and Ragam Ngolu. In his writings he tells a lot about the romance of life. This is to entertain people who use social media to understand life. In the same year, Tommy also released the music album “Imagination” which sold well in the market. Together with figures such as Efendy Rahmat Batubara and Kristian Andreas Sinaga, Tommy founded Reload Music Production, a music label, in 2020. In January 2025, Tommy Jonathan Sinaga announced that he would take a break from the world of Batak Toba literature starting January 2025. He explained that the reason he stopped writing short stories was because he wanted to focus on doing academic research and writing a thesis in his last semester of college. He will be doing dozens of scientific works, including computer science, philosophy, and literature.
